Concerning COVID-19: “United Kingdom transportation options are still limited but continuing to operate. Business operations continue to increase as local lockdown restrictions are adjusted. Conditions continue to improve in the United Kingdom. Visit the Embassy's COVID-19 page for more information on COVID-19 in the United Kingdom.”

Location[Google map London United Kingdom London United Kingdom]At Wroxton you will encounter the quintessential English village scene. Located just an hour North West of London, Wroxton village is set in the rural heart of England.  Nestled within the famed Cotswolds, Wroxton offers a peaceful environment for learning amid a beautiful countryside of lawns, lakes, gardens and woodland. The College continues to meet its founding vision of an intellectual community, cloistered in an idyllic setting. Housed in a remarkably beautiful, modernized 17th-century manor house, to Henry James, Wroxton was part of the essence of England:

"Everything that in the material line can render life noble and charming has been gathered into it with a profusion which makes the whole place a monument of past opportunity."

However, the quiet country setting belies a close proximity to leading cultural and entertainment centers that provide an important dimension of the program. With Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, London and Birmingham all close by and easily accessible, an outstanding selection of theaters, concert halls, museums, galleries, restaurants and major shopping areas are at hand. In addition, the mainland continent of Europe is but a short distance away, with group excursions arranged and individual visits possible. Wroxton's rich tapestry of diverse cultural, intellectual, recreational and social activities are all intermeshed with its own unique challenges. Quite simply, involvement at Wroxton is contagious.

“What I love about historic Wroxton is it continues to be vibrant in its program offerings, appealing well beyond undergraduate college years. See for yourself online the many specialty British liberal arts theme short-course offerings and professional workshops. The British tutors are incredible. The outings to historic destinations, well chosen. Facilities are up-to-date without losing the feel as if you are living royalty. There’s even twice daily teatime! The Cotswold setting is authentic, peaceful and bucolic. The Wroxton Experience is a fairytale come to life.” Katy
